The Experience: May through October, you will be fishing aboard Sea Dux. Our boat is a completely refurbished 40-foot Robbins that is equipped with a full cabin and all of the latest electronics for your safety and fishing pleasure. Inside, there is a working toilet and a spacious interior cabin with wrap around bench seating dinette

While rockfish or stripers are the usual goal of our Chesapeake Bay fishing charters, we also may see some catfish, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, perch, or other species.

The boat is located at Rock Hall, Maryland, at Waterman's Crab House. However, we move with the fish! So if the fish are moving, so are we.

• Charter length: up to 6 hours

• Charter capacity: Up to 6 people. If there is the need for another boat, Captain Brian can make those arrangements. We have organized fishing parties of 6 or more boats before.

  • NOTE: when fishing is slow, the less people on the boat the better chance everyone has to catch. Using multiple boats allows for everyone to go, still be near one another, and a better chance to catch more fish.

• Families are welcome. All ages are welcome. We specialize in families and children. There is nothing better than sharing a fishing experience with a child!

• Depending on the time of year we may be trolling or using light tackle for rockfish, live lining, or chumming. It all depends on what we are fishing for and what the fish are biting.

• We are happy to welcome bachelorette parties, sunset and dinner cruises, and Sunday Funday afternoons.

The Experience: March-April, we’ll be fishing onboard a 25-foot Parker 2500 and can welcome 4 people for a 4 and or 6 hour charters. Our charters specialize in Back Bay flats fishing and tarpon fishing, and we can create custom experiences that combine both kinds of fishing for you.

• Families are welcome. We recommend that children be at least 7 years of age to appreciate the experience.

• Sunrise and sunset are the best times of the day to catch tarpon. Most of the “Silver King” we catch are hooked at the historic and picturesque Seven Mile Bridge during a magical experience. The power of this fish and the show it puts on is unforgettable. Note: tarpon are catch and release only.

• The Mangroves Back Country of Florida Bay is surrounded by islands, flats and calm water. The flats provide shelter from the rougher waters, providing a calmer experience. In the Keys you never know what you are going to catch—blue fish, grouper, mangrove, lane, mutton, or yellow tail, sea trout, mackerel. The Bay has many species of big sharks that we catch and release on spinning tackle after the photos are taken.

• All tackle is provided or you can bring your own. After your trip the fish will be filleted so you can take it to one of the many local restaurants where it will be prepared any way you choose.
